Join us for a Trauma-Informed Weekend Framed at Creating Safer Spaces in Movement

The goal of this training is to help you create a path towards becoming a holistically minded and more trauma-informed practitioner; one that students and clients trust and want to partner with for the long haul.

Key Learning Outcomes:
  1. Expand your understanding of how everyday stress and trauma can impact the brain, nervous system and body as a whole.
  2. Through the lens of polyvagal theory discover how the role of evolution plays into our fundamental need to feel safe and how that can affect emotions and dictate behaviour.
  3. Identify key considerations for designing a class through a more trauma-informed lens.
  4. Develop a refined approach to teaching that includes self-regulation and co-regulation practices to keep both you and your students grounded, calm and in the present moment.

Online Schedule:

Sat: 9-11am & 1-3pm MST (11-1pm & 3-5pm EST)
